Ms. Petersen has worked in the commercial roofing industry since 2004. Starting her career as a temporary receptionist with one of the nation’s largest and most successful commercial roofing companies, she quickly worked her way up the organization to become the company’s top administrator. Ms. Petersen has expertise in all areas of construction related administration.  

At Red Pointe Roofing Ms. Petersen implemented the company’s accounting and IT systems, 401K plan and health benefits in addition to overseeing purchasing and worker’s compensation reporting. From an operations standpoint, Ms. Petersen is responsible for the administration of the company’s Project Control Log, which tracks our projects from start to finish. Ms. Petersen also serves on the company Leadership Committee with other senior managers to develop strategic initiatives relating to safety, operations, long term vision, employee benefits and recognition, and charitable contributions. Currently, Ms. Peterson services as a Director on the Board of Directors of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), and is a member of its Safety and Health Committee.

Ms. Petersen is a graduate of the NRCA/Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University Future Executive Institute program designed for future leaders in the roofing industry and earned her BA in Music from California State University at Long Beach. Ms. Petersen is also member of the National Women in Roofing Association. a SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Certified Professional, an HRCI Professional in Human Resources-California, and an HRCI Ethics Certificate holder Ms. Petersen is a member of the Red Pointe Roofing Safety Committee with OSHA 30 certification and was the recipient of the company’s Peak Performer award in 2015.
